Do you have a product you would like Money Saving Mindy to review?

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my blog! As you already know, my name is Mindy. I’m 30 years old and I live in the Bangor, Maine area. I love to scour the web for great deals and new products, and I love to share my findings with others! I don’t have any children yet, but I have plenty of friends who do, who may be willing to provide a guest review! Also, there is a wonderful man in my life who would be willing to test and review manly products!

I have many interests, including:

Cooking and baking – I love to test new recipes, food products, cookware, and bakeware, etc. I always have such a great time in the kitchen, whether it be cooking for a large group of friends and family, or just cooking for myself. Each year around Christmas time I bake my little heart out, package the goodies up all nice and pretty and hand them out as Christmas gifts to friends and family. Their eyes always light up when they receive their homemade goodies from me, and it makes me very happy!

Playing games – I love playing any kind of games, including board games, online MMORPG games (I have a level 85 mage in World of Warcraft), and card games (I recently even learned how to play Magic: The Gathering). Growing up, I would spend hours upon hours playing board games and card games with my grandmother. Those are memories I cherish very dearly. I truly believe that games are a great way to bring people together and have fun!

Camping – I live in Maine, and during the summer, there is nothing funner to me than going camping! Whether it be in a tent in the middle of the woods somewhere, or in a camper at a campground, I love it! I enjoy swimming in lakes and rivers, roasting marshmallows over a camp fire, hiking through the woods and mountains, and everything else that goes with it!

Crafting – I love to craft! I’m not so good with the needles yet (for sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc.) but give me some paper, scissors, markers, crayons, decorative items, etc., and I could spend hours crafting cute little things. I love to wrap gifts for friends and family in my very own handcrafted gift boxes or in wrapping paper I decorated myself. I also thoroughly enjoy scrapbooking and creating my own greeting cards.

Reading – I don’t often have time to do a lot of reading, but when I find a good book and sit down to read it, I am one of those people that just cannot put the book down until I am finished with it. I recently read a 350+ page book in just 2 days! If a book draws me in, I’m hooked!

Exercise – I’m no gym buff, that’s for sure, but I do enjoy a nice long walk or hike, and I love using the Wii Fit and dancing along with the Just Dance and Just Dance 2 Wii games. I some times spend up to 3 hours per night dancing along to them in the privacy of my own home. They are so much fun!

Watching movies and TV – I enjoy watching movies in the theater and in the comfort of my own home. I’m a girl, so of course my favorite movies are romantic comedies! I will give almost any type of movie a try though. I currently have no television service because in my opinion, it just costs way too much. There is so much filler junk on TV these days, that it’s hard to find anything good to watch. I currently have a subscription to Netflix, and I also rent movies either from RedBox or Amazon.com. If there is a television show I really want to watch, I go to Network’s website and watch it there the day after it has aired. It’s a day late, but hey, it’s FREE!

Music – Listening to music is one of my favorite things to do. Whether it be slow music I can sit back and relax to, or upbeat music that makes me want to dance. I truly believe that music is the heart of our soul. I enjoy attending different musical concerts. This past year alone, I have seen Black Label Society, Flogging Molly, Badfish, and A Perfect Circle in concert, and I have tickets to see Dropkick Murphys in September and Primus in October!

I love to share new products with my readers. If you have something you would like me to help promote, please do not hesitate to contact me. A non-returnable, full size product sample is required as I will use the product in order to provide a true review of it. I will give my honest opinion of the product through a post on my blog, which will then be additionally posted to my Facebook and Twitter pages.

Giveaways are a wonderful way to introduce potential new customers to your product. You simply provide the product and I’ll do the rest of the work hosting the giveaway and promoting your product! Readers are provided with links to your website and social networking sites and then asked to browse through the pages. They are typically instructed to come back and comment on what their favorite item was or something they learned for the first mandatory entry into the giveaway. This helps to create more traffic to your site. I will also promote the giveaway on Facebook and Twitter, as well as on a number of blog hops.

Reviews

Reviews are free of charge. I just need the product or service to try prior to the review.
One the product has been reviewed, the review will be posted on the blog. The review will contain links back to your main page as well as any specific product links required. It will also include photos when appropriate. It will be advertised by post on Facebook and Twitter.
A full-size product must be provided to do a thorough review. The product will not be returned.
Products provided for review must be provided by the business and shipped to Money Saving Mindy by the supplier.
The review will be posted 2 to 6 weeks after the item is received although request for certain post dates will be considered.
Discounts you would like to provide in conjunction with a review are free.
Should a review be negative, I will contact you prior to posting to discuss the situation. I only share products I believe in with my readers and if I am dissatisfied for any reason, I will be in contact. My reviews are honest and do highlight areas of weakness but not without feedback and I will never post a completely negative review.

Giveaways

Giveaways are free of charge when associated with a product review.
Giveaways at Money Saving Mindy generally run for 2 weeks although the length can be negotiated to meet the needs of the sponsor.
Sponsors are responsible for shipping the giveaway prize to the winner. Please do not mail the giveaway prize to me along with the review product.
After the giveaway has ended, the winner’s information will be provided to the sponsor, and the sponsor will be responsible for shipping the prize.
Giveaways will be promoted on the blog, Twitter, Facebook, and various giveaway blogs and linkys.
Entry will usually require the readers to specify a favorite item from your site resulting in a visit to your site.
Optional entries can be made available and can include liking your Facebook page, following on Twitter, subscribing by email to your newsletter, etc.
As per Facebook Promotion Guidelines, I cannot ask the reader to take an action on Facebook for an entry. Liking your page is okay. Actions on the wall will not be used for additional entry options.
Purchases for bonus entries will not be allowed as they violate FTC regulations.
I request that you provide the winner with their prize within one month after the giveaway has ended. This should allow ample time for you to ship your product to them and will keep everyone happy. If you are unable to meet this deadline, please let me know immediately.
