Attention pregnant ladies!!  Are you tired of those insanely huge horse pill prenatal vitamins??  You know the ones I’m talking about…those horrible prenatal vitamins that you have to choke down swallow.  Well, listen up because I’m about to tell you about the best prenatal vitamins ever!  No, really!

When I first found out I was pregnant, I thought the huge horse pills were the only kind of prenatal vitamin out there, so I went to the pharmacy and bought a couple of bottles, to the tune of about $25.00 each!  I absolutely hate swallowing any kind of pill or vitamin, but I reluctantly took those nasty vitamins for an entire week.  Then, I became so constipated (and uncomfortable!) that I thought I would die if I didn’t finally get some relief.  I had heard that prenatal vitamins can make you constipated, and wow, did they ever!  I knew I had to figure out an alternative, so off to the grocery store I went to see what else they might have available.

After browsing the vitamin aisle at the grocery store, I found a bottle of gummy prenatal vitamins for about $8.00.  Maybe these would be the best prenatal vitamins, I thought.  I was absolutely delighted to find prenatal vitamins that I wouldn’t have to swallow, and I hoped that they would not make me constipated.

Well, they didn’t make me constipated, and I didn’t have to swallow them, but wow, were they ever nasty tasting!  I had to choke those prenatal vitamins down every night, and often times I would vomit after taking them.  They were bitter tasting, and smelled horrid.  They came in 3 different fruity flavors, and I found myself only able to take the lemon flavored ones, and threw the rest in the trash.  It was really very wasteful.

I was at the end of my rope one night, staring at those disgusting gummy prenatal vitamins, dreading having to take them again.  I did an online search for the best prenatal vitamins, and I found several reviews for Bellybar Chewable Prenatal Vitamins.  I had never heard of these before, but I was very intrigued.  All of the reviews I read were very favorable and highly recommended Bellybar Chewable Prenatal Vitamins.  They definitely sounded like they just might be the best prenatal vitamins on the market.

These prenatal vitamins look just like Whoppers, but they do not have a malted center.  They are very soft, easy to chew, and taste great!  Who would have ever thought you could get prenatal vitamins in chocolate form?  Take just one chocolate prenatal and one chocolate DHA per day.  Complete heaven.

Next up, I tried the Chewable Prenatal Vitamins.  They are fruity flavored, very easy to chew as well, and they remind me of the vitamins I used to take when I was a kid.  You know, those Scooby Doo and Flintstones vitamins.  They are really enjoyable.  The DHA Soft Chews come separately, and they look and taste just like an orange Starburst.  I absolutely love taking these every night, and I get to take two of each!  It’s more like eating a treat than it is taking a vitamin.  Since trying Bellybar Prenatal Vitamins, I have ordered a few more bottles of each for myself.  I am so happy with them, and don’t ever dread taking my prenatal vitamins anymore.  I actually look forward to them!
