Decorating Your Baby’s Nursery on a Budget

There must be something in the water!  It seems that just about every other day lately, I hear about someone who recently found out they are expecting.  Are you or someone you know expecting?

With a new baby, comes the joy of decorating the nursery.  Often times my expecting friends will post pictures of their nursery transition on Facebook, and I can see just how excited they are about it.  I love looking at the pics of Mommy-to-be painting the nursery walls, with a big ol’ pregnant belly sticking out.  It’s so fun to see the theme they pick out to welcome their new little bundle of joy home with.

The theme of the nursery is often times tied into the theme of the baby shower too.  I recently attended a baby shower for my cousin, and her nursery theme was woodland animals.  She carried that theme over into her baby shower, and had a cake, snacks and decorations that matched the bedding in her son’s nursery.  It was really cute and a lot of fun!
